Eid Charity Hike: Seven Sister Cliffs

Fundraising Eid Hike

On Saturday, 20th April 2024, we held a meaningful and spiritual fundraising hike to support building a health clinic for orphans in Iraq, in collaboration with Al-Ayn. The event aimed to provide orphans and vulnerable individuals with access to free healthcare. As we reached our fundraising target for the health clinic, we also had the opportunity to sponsor orphans both in Afghanistan and Ghana.

Participants received personalised fundraising links and were encouraged to set a fundraising goal of at least £150, although participation was allowed even if the target was not met and many surpassed their target. The hike was inclusive, welcoming participants of all levels and fostering a community spirit focused on making a difference.

Participants were advised to ensure they were adequately prepared with suitable training and clothing. The event was designed to be inclusive and community-focused.
