Medicine and Dentistry Interview Preparation Crash Course

🌟 Come along to practice and improve your Interview skills in a realistic Mock Multiple Mini Interview (MMI) Format coupled with a lecture providing guidance! 🌟

Having submitted your UCAS, it's now interview season - Whether you're facing traditional interviews or MMIs, our 2-hour programme has been organised to assist you! Please note, that this event is a repeat of Empathos's event that had taken place on Saturday 9th December. 

What to expect:

  1. Simulated MMI Stations Workshop: Experience common interview questions in groups of five with a current student facilitating the session

  2. Interview Guidance lecture: You will have the opportunity to sit in our lecture providing insight on how to stand out in your interviews with advice/tips provided.

Date: Saturday 16th December 2023

Time: You can choose between two-time slots, 11 am and 1 pm. 

Location: Lecture Theatre 2, New Hunts House, London Guy's Campus (note this event is not affiliated to KCL).

The lecture is open to all students currently in Year 12 or 13! The MMI workshop + Lecture programme is only open to students from a Widening Participation background who are currently in year 13 or 1st Gap Year (must have college ID card as proof), who have applied to either medicine, dentistry or other healthcare course this year:

As part of our commitment to inclusivity and due to limited spaces, all spaces for our mock MMI and Lecture programme are only open for students from widening participation backgrounds. To be eligible, you must meet at least be attending a non-selective state school and have one of the following criteria:

  • a) Have been on free school meals

  • b) First-generation student and has not started or completed a previous university degree.

  • c) Applicants who are care-experienced

  • d) Applicants who are currently a carer

By signing up for the MMI + Lecture programme, you are confirming you meet at least one of the above requirements. If you believe you fit different criteria but this is not listed, please contact us via email: info@empathos.co.uk. Please only book one ticket, as multiple orders will be cancelled and voided.
